Meet Our Staff
Desirey Wolfe is a board-certified Registered Nurse with a B.S. degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). With over 12 years of medspa experience, Desirey loves being a member of Dr. Bennack’s skilled Radiance team that helps transform the way patients feel and look.
Desirey has assumed roles of increasing responsibility at Radiance, starting in 2006 as front desk coordinator. She is now an expert nurse injector of all things injectable and the principal injector at Radiance for Sculptra and lip injections, the latter being one of her favorite and most-creative skills.
Desirey holds dermal-filler certifications from Allergan, Restylane, Sculptra and Radiesse. She’s also highly skilled in administering Botox and Dysport, Profound, Sublative, IPL (Intense Pulse Light), GMAX CO2RE®, CO2RE Intima, Z-Wave, Vela Shape lasers (being the first to operate such lasers in South Texas ), Microneedling, Hair PRP rejuvenative, SilkPeel Dermalinfusion, SkinMedica, Obagi chemical peels, SkinMedica, Obagi, SkinCeuticals skin care products and more.
A country girl at heart, Desirey grew up in Stockdale, Texas, where she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys cooking and feels more comfortable in boots than high heels.
In addition to rescuing animals in need and caring for her menagerie of reptiles, she devotes every spare moment to the “lights of her life,” her niece and two nephews.
She is currently pursuing her Master of Science degree and designation as a Family Nurse Practitioner at UTA.
Office Manager/Customer Service Manager
Lisa joined the Radiance family in 2007 after working for the medspa’s advertising/marketing agency. She started in a part-time role performing administrative duties such as staffing the front desk and handling payroll, and gradually her responsibilities grew as a full-time team member.
Lisa holds a B.A. degree in education from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, and she is certified not only in CPR but also in the skin care lines of SkinMedica, Obagi, Revision, and SkinCeuticals.
Lisa makes sure every Radiance client has a perfect experience from the time they enter the medspa to long after they return home and enjoy the results of their treatments. She stays in touch with Radiance clients either by phone or by email in the interest of delivering excellent customer service. Lisa spends her spare time with her husband, two daughters and friends in the world of competitive, high-school cheerleading.
Catalina (Cat) Nemecio
Catalina Nemecio has been with Radiance MedSpa on and off since 2013, taking a brief respite to have a baby and gain her surgical tech certification. She wears many hats at Radiance including medical assistant, phlebotomist, surgical tech, surgical consultant, photographer, front desk coordinator and, above all, quality control specialist. What makes her happy is boosting clients’ self-confidence and making sure everyone leaves with a smile.
Cat, who holds an Associate Degree of Science from Brown College, obtained her surgical tech certification in 2017. She is further certified in Vela Shape & SkinMedica, Obagi and SkinCeutical skin care products.
Cat was born in Chicago and moved to Texas in 2000, where this “big city” girl fell in love with the country. She loves fishing and spending time outdoors with her family. She can crochet and accomplish intricate arts & crafts projects. The joy of her life is her 1-year-old daughter, Rilee.
Customer Service Representative
Brittany, who has years of experience working in medical aesthetic spas, loves the uplifting environment and seeing every patient leave happy. She stayed home for a year after the birth of her daughter and joined the Radiance Medspa family in September 2017.
Born in Longview, Texas, Brittany has lived in San Antonio for most of her life. She holds a B.B.A. degree in management from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and she has been certified to administer Skin Medica, Obaji, Image, Revision and Neova treatments. She continues to pursue additional certifications to expand her skin-care expertise.
Brittany spends most of her leisure time with her daughter, other family members and friends, and she also enjoys movie-watching, attending concerts, shopping and road-tripping to the beach.
Abigail (Abi) Hendershot
Certified Laser Tech
Abigail Hendershot joined Radiance Medspa in October 2017 as a medical aesthetician, professional cosmetic laser technician and a trained injector who works with her clients to help them achieve the best skin possible.
She’s been in the skincare business for more than 12 years and knows that the right treatments, a consistent regimen and good products can all achieve the flawless and healthy skin every client dreams of but wasn’t born with.
Abigail has worked with plastic surgeons and pharmaceutical companies, and she’s skilled in the use of multiple types of cosmetic lasers. In fact, she is Radiance Medspa’s
laser safety officer.
She has been thoroughly trained in skincare advancements including neurotoxins and dermal fillers, and she learns the latest in skincare technology through workshops and seminars. Passionate about her work, Abigail is committed to building trust with her clients by listening to their needs, providing informative options and administering thorough, attentive care.
Her exceptional level of expertise, specifically with skin resurfacing, IPL photofacials, laser-hair removal and injectables, make her one of the most-knowledgeable and talented medical aestheticians in the skincare industry.
Massage Therapist/Ki-Hara Trainer
Kelley, whose professional background includes, clinical, professional and private practices, has been associated with Radiance for the past 10 years. She has been a licensed massage therapist in Texas since 1995 and has been providing Radiance clients with an exceptional deep-tissue massage experience.
Kelley is now focused on administering the revolutionary Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching and Ortho-Bionomy therapies. She began working in the Ortho-Bionomy technique in 2000, and her expertise in the Ki-Hara stretching modality started in 2009. In fact, she is a Level IV Trainer of this unique system of body therapy.
Kelley uses her extensive experience, knowledge and passion to provide her clients with the optimum in bodywork. This is matched only by her passion for K-9 rescue efforts and helping military veterans because of their unselfish service to the nation.
