PRP Therapy for Hair Loss
Hair loss is quite common, in men and women. PRP Therapy is a great, inexpensive option for those looking to restore their confidence and regain a full head of hair. PRP is obtained by taking your own blood, spinning it for ten minutes in a very specially manufactured sterile tube to super concentrate the platelets and growth factors by over 16 times! This super concentrate contains vitamins, hormones, growth factors and more.
This “super serum” is then divided down again to only its most concentrated portion and injected sterilely back into the scalp to stimulate the growth of hair. The usual treatment, depending on the amount of hair loss, consists of three treatments like this one month apart. Yearly, or bi-yearly treatments may be suggested for maintenance. If you have had a hair transplant and have had additional hair loss this treatment can revitalize the plugs and result in an entire new head of hair!
